Judah Bible College is accredited through Transworld Accrediting Commission International (TACI) — an internationally recognized accrediting body for evangelical theological institutions.

Serving the Christian education community for over 35 years, TACI is a federally recognized, non-profit church educational organization. Their philosophy is to demonstrate accountability to the consuming public for education obtained in nontraditional evangelical educational institutions.

TACI oversees more than 1000 member institutions including schools, seminaries, universities, colleges, and institutes both in the United States and internationally. They provide documented evidence of compliance with standards of structure and governance, material resources, policies, faculty, and curriculum.

What Our Accreditation Means

Accreditation means JBC is held accountable — by an external body, on an ongoing basis — to standards in the following areas:

Mission alignment — Every program, course, and policy must serve the stated mission of the institution
Doctrinal integrity — Doctrine must be clearly stated, consistently held, and accountable to historic Christian orthodoxy
Faculty qualifications — Faculty must be vetted, credentialed, and appropriate to what they teach
Curriculum standards — Programs must meet defined credit-hour, content, and learning-outcome standards
Student services — Students must have access to fair policies, support resources, and clear processes
Institutional accountability — Governance, finances, and operations must be transparent and well-ordered

Q1: Is Judah Bible College accredited?

Yes. We are accredited through Transworld Accrediting Commission International, an internationally recognized accreditor of evangelical theological institutions. Our accreditation is current and our institution operates in full compliance with the standards required to maintain it.
Q2: Is this regional accreditation like other universities have?

No — and we want to be plain about that. JBC holds religious/theological accreditation, not regional secular accreditation (such as SACSCOC, the regional accreditor most state and private universities in the Southeast operate under). These are two different categories of accreditation, designed for two different kinds of institutions.
We hold the category of accreditation appropriate for a confessional Bible college that exists to train believers for the work of the ministry — not the category designed for secular degree-granting universities.
Q3: Will my JBC degree transfer to a state university?

It depends on the institution. Some Christian colleges and seminaries will readily accept JBC credits and degrees toward their own programs. Most regionally-accredited secular universities will not, because the accrediting bodies are different categories.
If your plan is to pursue a graduate program at a regionally-accredited state university, talk with that institution before you enroll at JBC. We would rather you ask the question now than be disappointed later. We are not the right school for every student. We are the right school for the student called to be trained for the work of the ministry.
Q4: Why did JBC choose this kind of accreditation?

Because it fits who we are.
JBC exists to train Spirit-filled, biblically grounded believers for the work of the ministry. That is a different calling than producing graduates for the secular marketplace. Religious accreditation allows us to maintain our doctrinal convictions, our Statement of Faith requirements, our Code of Conduct, our biblical standards, and our apostolic-prophetic foundation without compromise.
Regional accreditation would require us to compromise on things we will not compromise on. We will not negotiate the Word of God to satisfy a secular standard. We will not soften our convictions to meet a cultural one. The accreditation we hold is the right one for the school the Lord has called us to be.
Q5: Can I use my JBC degree to pastor, teach, or serve in ministry?

Yes. JBC degrees are designed to credential believers for ministry — pastoral roles, church leadership, ministry staff positions, missions, chaplaincy in ministry settings, and a wide range of vocational and lay-ministry contexts. Your degree from JBC is a real degree from a real accredited Bible college.
We have built the curriculum, the standards, and the practicum requirements precisely to prepare students for the work. If God has called you to serve His Church, JBC will train you for it.
