ACADEMIC CALENDAR
2026 – 2027
5 Terms Per Year | 9 Weeks Each
JBC operates on a five-term academic year — five 9-week terms with intentional breaks built in. Students typically take one to two classes per term, attend two Dominion Weekend Gathering per semester (Fall & Spring), and have a full week off between terms to rest, regroup, and reset. We pause for three weeks every Christmas and New Year so students can be present with their families and their local churches during one of the most important seasons of the Christian year.
This rhythm exists because we know who our students are. You are working a job. You are pastoring a family. You are serving in your local church. You are answering a call from God in the middle of a real life that has not paused to accommodate your training. JBC’s calendar is built around that reality — engaged enough to keep momentum, paced enough to keep you from burning out, structured enough that you always know what is coming next.

JBC administrative offices observe the following holidays each year. During holiday closures, online courses continue running on schedule unless otherwise specified by the instructor — but our administrative team is honoring the day. We will respond to your inquiry as soon as offices reopen.
